Based on the overwhelming success of the Church’s first
event- success being full stomachs and happy people, the
SOJOURNERS of Valley View Baptist Church invite everyone
to the 2nd Annual Chili Cook-off and dessert contest. Being
held Friday, January 22, at 6pm the cook-off will get underway
at the church’s Fellowship Hall. There will be special judges on
hand performing the daunting task of tasting and ranking all
the Chili’s and desserts-deciding who goes home with the
prized ribbons, and who goes home to keep practicing for next
year. Special entertainment will be provided during the judging
and the meal. This is a benefit to raise money for the church’s
building fund, and all monies raised go into this fund.
Ribbons will be awarded to the top 3 winners.
